Injectables
Combining different types of injection treatments may produce better results than a single injection. Certain fillers restore volume while others treat moderate to severe wrinkles or folds in the skin. Botox® prevents new wrinkles from forming. Your Advanced Aesthetics physician will discuss all of these options with you during your consultation to determine which injections are most beneficial for your individual concerns.
Botox® Injections
Botox® cosmetic is a natural purified protein that relaxes muscles by blocking nerve impulses. It has been used for over 11 years to treat overactive muscles that cause wrinkles. This fast and safe procedure takes only a few minutes, but results last for 3 to 6 months. A board-certified physician will determine your treatment course and perform the procedure.
Restylane® and Perlane® Injections
Restylane® and Perlane® are safe and natural non-surgical cosmetic fillers used to restore youthful volume and fullness to the skin. They also correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, especially around the nose and lips. These products provide immediate results and can also diminish the appearance of smoker’s lines around the lips or create pouty and luscious full lips. Both products are made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance already found in the body, reducing the risk of allergic reaction. Restylane® results may last up to 6 months and Perlane® results will last at least 6 months.
Radiesse Injections
Radiesse® is used for facial contouring and to diminish smile and frown lines. It is also used for cheek augmentation and non-surgical rhinoplasty (nose contouring). It delivers immediate results.
Sculptra™ Injections
Sculptra™ is a non-surgical filler that stimulates new collagen formation. Sculptra requires a SERIES of treatments to achieve adequate correction for most skin defects. It does not provide immediate results. Patients may require 2 – 6 treatments at 4 – 8 week intervals to achieve maximum results lasting approximately 2 years.
