Laser/Light-Based Treatments
Combining treatments has proven effective for a variety of skin conditions and may offer greater results than a single treatment. This combination of treatments may include the use of Intense Pulse Light (IPL), the MicroLaser Peel and the Profractional Laser Treatment. Your Advanced Aesthetics physician will discuss this with you during your consultation.
Sciton MicroLaser Peel
The MicroLaser Peel offers epidermal skin rejuvenation and resurfacing. The Sciton laser utilizes a short-pulsed Erbium laser to dissolve the outer layers of the skin (epidermis) at precise depths. This treatment delivers excellent results for poor skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles. During your consultation a physician will determine the intensity of your treatment for desired results.
Sciton Profractional Laser Treatment
The Profractional Laser Treatment is the latest in skin (dermal) rejuvenation. Advanced Aesthetics is the first medical spa in Wichita to offer this treatment. The Profractional Laser Treatment allows an aggressive treatment with minimal discomfort and down time using a computerized laser scanner set at a predetermined depth and density to produce uniform results. The Profractional Laser Treatment promotes collagen remodeling by using laser energy to create thousands of microscopic channels deep into the dermis of the skin. These deep channels are surrounded by healthy untouched skin allowing a quicker healing time. The microscopic channels stimulate the production of collagen to smooth out deeper lines and wrinkles while diminishing acne scarring and pigmentation. During your consultation the physician will determine the depth and density of your treatment for desired results. Multiple treatments may be recommended for best results, depending on your unique skin concerns.
Photorejuvenation
Photorejuvenation is also known as Intense Pulse Light (IPL). This is a non-invasive treatment that reduces visible signs of aging. Photorejuvenation diminishes slight skin surface imperfections that occur with aging or sun exposure. This treatment improves the appearance of facial redness caused by superficial capillaries and most brown pigments including freckles and sunspots. A series of IPL treatments can improve the overall skin tone and color resulting in a more youthful appearance. This treatment reduces signs of aging on the face, neck, chest, hands, legs, and shoulders.
Laser/Light Hair Reduction
We offer two of the top laser/light hair removal systems available, including the Sciton Profile and the Palomar Medilux. Pulsed light or laser targets and destroys the hair shaft and follicle, reducing hair growth with each treatment. Several treatments are necessary for maximum hair reduction. This treatment has proven to be effective on virtually the entire body.
Vein Treatments
We offer two effective treatments for spider veins, small varicose veins, and broken capillaries.
Laser Vein Treatment
Advanced Aesthetics utilizes a Sciton laser for treatment of vascular lesions, facial veins, spider veins, and small varicose veins.
Sclerotherapy Vein Treatment
Most spider veins can be improved by injecting them with a solution known as sclerotherapy.
This is also an effective treatment for small to medium leg veins.
